授课题目:Multi-scale phenomics: environmental characterization and data management.



课程安排:

Day 1, 17th December, Monday

Module presentation

9:00 – 10:00 Phenomics at different scales, from organ to networks of fields, the importance of environmental characterization and of a proper data management.

Cycle duration, a key feature for meta analyses

10:00 – 12:00 How to estimate cycle duration, thermal time, unifying phenological stages, consequences on light interception.Exercise Thermal time.

Canopy temperature

14:00 – 16:00 Energy balance, evaporative demand - Canopy temperature.

16:15 – 18:00 Computer exercise, transpiration. Penman-Monteith equation.

What are we measuring with canopy temperature, when is a cool temperature favorable?

Day 2, 18th December, Tuesday

Intercepted light, stomatal control and leaf growth

9:00 – 12:00 Monteith equation (interception/ efficiency).

Its use in a high thourghput contextStomatal control and growth, water deficit, WUE.

Principles for data organization of environmental and phenomic data

14:00 – 17:00 Identification of sensors, plants, plots. Ontologies for environmental data

Generating metadata based on semantic web

授课教师简介:

Francois Tardieu,法国农科院LEPSE实验室总负责人,法国PHENOME项目主管,在国际期刊上发表高水平论文160余篇(H指数53)。他的主要研究方向为植物对不同生长环境条件(尤其是干旱状态)的生理反应,包括气孔控制、叶片生长、根系生长等。自2000年以来,François Tardieu教授致力于高通量表型技术开发研究,通过结合生理生态学模型、高通量表型和基因分析,来模拟植物对与气候变化相关的环境线索的遗传变异。 Francois Tardieu, senior scientist in INRA, France; group leader in INRA LEPSE. His main work deals with the modelling of plant responses to environmental conditions, especially water deficit: stomatal control, leaf growth, root growth in relation with hydraulic and chemical signalling. Since 2000, he has developed an approach aiming at modelling the genetic variability of plant responses to environmental cues linked to climate changes, by combining ecophysiological modelling, high throughput phenotyping and genetic analyses.

上课要求:

2.请大家自备笔记本电脑,MacOS系统和Windows系统兼可。

3.此次课程限定人数为20人,请有意参加的老师及同学,于12月14日(周五)下午15:00前,将报名表格发送至作物表型组学交叉研究中心邮箱phenotype@njau.edu.cn,进行报名。

4.课程结束后,将会为各位师生颁发证书。
